HERE FERI -4 will back with new trio

Super tri jodi of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty from ‘Hera Pheri’ who made the film an all time favorite with moviegoers, will not be seen in the third installment of the film that is called ‘Hera Pheri 4’. Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal have been replaced by Sanjay Dutt and Nana Patekar.

Confirming the news a source said, “Both actors have lost interest in the project and have made it clear they have no interest in coming together for yet another `Hera Pheri` film. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala delayed the film in the hope that he would be able to convince them to stay on, but now he has no choice but to go ahead with different actors."


A sure disappointment for the series fans but as sources state it was Akshay and Paresh who opted out of the flick. And though many believe that the move is triggered by the lackluster run of the second part at the Box Office, officially it is stated that the actors backed out, as they don’t have dates.

Well Sanjay Dutt and Nana Patekar sure have some big shoes to fill, here’s hoping they do a good job at it.

Lara Dive in Deep dangerous water in BLUE

Akshay kumar gets all credit If Lara’s getting accolades for her underwater stunts in Blue “Well he was the one who recommended my name for Blue,” said Lara.

Being apprehensive about water stunts earlier Lara revealed that she was not really happy with the idea of diving 70 feet with sharks. Akki was confident that only Lara could play that role. She reveals, “I got a call from Akshay who told me, ‘take a swimming lesson if you don’t like it then say no to the movie but take one swimming lesson and see how it goes.’ He has this favorite dialogue - Tu nahi toh kaun karega - and he knows that gets me every single time.”

Lara informs that after a three month training she got certified as a diver. “I must say that as an actress in the industry very few times you get anything that really challenges you in a role including something that is physically challenging and I am extremely lucky on that part.” She signs off.

Akshay Kumar with More action in 8x10

We've heard from a reliable source that Akshay will be seen portraying the role of a psychological super-hero in Nagesh Kukunoor's forthcoming film 8×10. We know how SRK's kids think of him as a super-man. We also know that Hrithik excelled as Krrish and Abhishek bravely attempted at being one in Drona. What we didn't know was Akshay Kumar's plan of jumping onto the bandwagon.

“In 8×10 Akshay plays a man who can read the minds of people and has special powers and the ability to solve extraordinary problems. He plays a psychological superhero in the film. The film also stars Sharmila Tagore and Ayesha Takia.”

Akshay is Hosting for 2nd Fear Factor- Khartron Ke Khiladi

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is set to return to the small screen as the host of the second season of “Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi”, which promises to feature bigger stars and meaner stunts.

“Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi" debuted in July 2008 and was won by model Nethra Raghuraman, who walked away with Rs.5 million prize money.

“The show is going to be a notch higher in terms of bigger celebrity participants than the last season, the difficulty level of challenges and even Akshay Kumar. The inclusion of the common man as a co-contender will definitely create a lot of excitement,” said Ashvini Yardi, programming head, Colors.

For season two, the auditions will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Ahmedabad starting Feb 9 .

Can Dino Beats Akshay

One guy who is making more news than any of the celebrities in tinsel town put together is the one who clicks with them, and he clicks literally well! But the wicked whisper swears that it's going to be Dino who will beat Akshay hands down. Those who have had a sneak-peak into the calendar are swearing by Dino's killer look in the album!

Well, with an ecstatic body and a smile to die for we won't be too surprised with this prediction!

Akshay got bracks

Akshay is enjoying his success in Bollywood yet he is aware that he has competition. And it's not the well established Khans that are giving him a run he believes...

''You can see there is a lot of competition around for me nowadays,'' he admits, ''I love working with younger heroes but am also scared of them. They are all so fit. If I have to work with them then I have to match up to them. And that means I ought to be fit and fine, for there's no time to sit and rest.''

Looks like the guy's all charged up, eh? It's not long before he'll be co-starring with son Aarav. Is that the plan, AK?

Akshay follows Mallika

I think that Akshay kumar follow the way of Mallika If Mallika can do anything then why Akshay stey behind afterall he is kinng. The actor, who is now going back to the action genre, with which he started his career, is set to star opposite Chinese superstar Jackie Chan in a film to be produced by Ashtavinayak.

After having worked with Slyvester Stallone in Sajid Nadiadwala's next opposite Kareena Kapoor, action star Chan seems to be next on Akshay's calendar. The film will have both actors, each an outstanding action hero with a flair for comedy, sharing equal space in the film. The movie is likely to be made along the lines of Rush Hour and not like The Myth, which was predominantly Chinese. The producers are trying to rope in an international director for the movie. Hindi film directors are now willing and eager to go that extra length to make their films more accessible to an international audience. So, after Mallika, it will soon be the turn of the khiladi to work opposite Chan, a phenomenon in the East, and an actor who Akshya admires.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra going for Akshay Kumar

Vidhu Vinod Chopra as a director may have more luck producing films these days. His last venture, Raju Hirani's superhit Munnabhai MBBS is so widely acclaimed that, in a first for Hindi cinema, 20th Century Fox bought its English film rights! And Vidhu's next film, Parineeta, hits screens internationally on June 10.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra now wants to sign Akshay Kumar for a quickie. Following the good showing of Singh Is Kinng, lots of producers and directors are heading towards Akshay Kumar, whose reign at the box office continues unabated. The latest to queue up is none other than Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Chopra badly wants a hit and is planning to make a quick commercial so that he can make some moolah. And he wants to cash in on Akshay Kumar's dream run. It seems that at a recent party held to celebrate the success of Singh Is Kinng, the producer director, stuck close to Akshay all through the evening and kept lavishing him with compliments about his performance in the film. He is then believed to have given Akshay a drop home so that he could talk about his project. Of course, one is yet to know, if Akshay has fallen for the bait. We are sure it will be quite tough as the actor is swamped by offers and is quite heavily booked for a while. But Vidhu needs a sure fire hit right, and he seems to have settled on Akshay as his best Hero.

Kaitrina far ahead Sallu-Akshay

This time when all that matters is box office success and leading ladies are ready to give their left hand in order to work with top stars like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif has other plans. Though she has almost a cent percent success record with Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, Katrina now wants to work with the new and younger lot. This is evident from the films that she has recently given her consent to. Although Katrina has Anees Bazmee's "SINGH IS KINNG" opposite Akshay Kumar and Subhash Ghai's YUVRAAJ with Salman Khan, she now wants to test herself with 'not so safe' movies. Well, don't be shocked and question the intelligence of this beauty with brains, as she has a very interesting and valid reason for that - 'Salman and Akshay can pull even bad scripts.' So she has made sure that the scripts of the films that she has signed recently are really great, especially that of the Rajkumar Sontoshi project.
