Preity Zinta first time in Adult movie

This film is based on various social issues highlighting domestic violence as one of the major issues plaguing women all over the world. Videsh is a sensitive portrayal of a young bright woman who gets married to a man she has never met. She leaves her loving family behind in India and shifts to Canada only to face the harsh realities of life. The film is slated for release on the 27th of March.

Videsh a film based on domestic violence has sure been in news off late and for all the right reasons until recent media reports suggested that the film is too violent and Deepa Mehta has been requested to tone down the battering of Preity Zinta in several scenes.

The essence of the film is highlighting social issues and domestic violence is one amongst them. The Censor Board has objected to the brutality in a few scenes and therefore Deepa Mehta and BR Films have decided to go along with the 'A' Certificate which would not compromise on the creative integrity of the film.

Aa Dekhen Zara Promoted by ADZ band

The promotion of the film Aa Dekhen Zara is being done in a rather unique method, namely with a band, ADZ-The Rising. Viky Rajani, the producer of the film in conjunction with Gaurav Dasgupta, has created a band to promote the film.

The band will perform in various cities across the country as part of the film's promotion. And Neil will accompany the band during various club performances.

The band comprises of Divendu Mukherjee - vocalist and drummer, keyboard - Roshan, female vocals - Shweta Vijay (Miss India earth 2003) and Guitarist - Mizo. Launching the newly founded band was the cast of the film, Neil Mukesh and Bipasha Basu last night at Enigma, in the Marriot Hotel. What's more? Neil accompanied the band on stage and actually took a shot at crooning a few lines as he has sung the title track for the film 'Aa Dekhen Zara'. One thing is for sure, be it acting or crooning, Neil is on top of it.

Aftab held Aamna’s hands for encourge......

It was Aamna’s first day of shoot for Aloo Chaat . Aamna Said “It was my first day at shoot. I was very nervous. In fact I could not sleep the night before that. In my first shot, the entire family in the film was in the background and Aftab was supposed to hold my hand in the first shot.”

She continues, “My hands were actually shivering and he calmed me down and asked me to chill. He wished me all the best. There was a lot of warmth when he gave me his wishes and I think that is the reason why the chemistry between us in the film has turned out the way it has.

Aamna Shariff is all geared up for the release of her debut film Aloo Chaat . The industry is already abuzz with rumours of her off- screen relationship with Aftab Shivdasani. And this incident will add fuel to those rumours.

Is Payal Rohatgi A “item girl”

The actress who was last seen in the 2007 movie "Dhol" is Payal Rohatgi will now be sharing screen space with the likes of Irrfan Khan and Konkana Sen Sharma in the upcoming film Dil Kabaddi.

“After Dhol, she was getting offers for item songs. But I did not want to do those because I did not want to be known as an item girl. Payal stay off the big screen for almost a year I do not come from that sensibility. After Dhol , the best script that was offered to me was Dil Kabaddi. I have to move up from what I was doing”, says Payal.

“The film falls in the genre of relationships. It is about marriage. It is about the adultery we commit in marriage without even being aware of it. It is all about emotions and mind games. But there is nothing evil in it”, says Payal about the film.

Gushing details about her role Payal said, “I play Kaya in the film. I am opposite Irrfan Khan in the film. I am playing as his girl friend. She creates excitement in the life of Irrfan Khan who is already married to Soha Ali Khan. I am playing an aerobic instructor in the film. Apart from looking good, it is a good chunk of a role.”

With Rahul Bose, Kay Kay Menon and Konkana Sen Sharma for company, Payal’s acting skills will surely climb a notch higher. Ok best of luck for Payal Rohatgi after one year gap
