Deepika perform high stunt for ‘Lafange Parindey’

‘long legged’ Deepika performed some high action stunts without using body double. In the movie “Lafange Parinde”, Deepika plays a tomboy, who will be seen donning leather jackets and performing some adrenaline rushing bike feats.

But Deepika’s co-actor Neil Nitin Mukesh is finding it hard to match up to her passion. Last week, while performing some high action sequels for ‘Lafange Parindey’, Neil refused when he was told to jump into a deep mud pit and asked for a body double. However, Deepika showed resilience and went ahead with the daredevil stunt.

Talking to a news daily, a close source said, “Everyone in the unit thought it was too dangerous because Deepika had to walk straight into the pit and fall into the swirling muddy water. Once she fell in the pit only professional divers could help her come out. That’s how deep the hole in the ground was.”

When enquired, Deepika confirmed the episode and said, “Yes, I did jump into the pit and I had to make it look like an accident so that the scene looked convincing. I had to do whatever it took.”

Kajol and Ajay again is set to romance

Real couple, Ajay Devgn and Kajol, which was last seen together in ‘U Me Aur Hum’ in 2008, has now been shortlisted by Hollywood’s Fox Star Studios to act in the remake of their foreign flick Date Night. But before you say cheers to this, let us inform you that the movie will go on floors only after Kajol’s delivery. In fact, it will be her first film after she has her second child.

As for the movie, the source added, “Date Night has Steve Carell and Tina Fey. It is an action comedy about a couple struggling with their lives and marriage till a visit to a trendy restaurant results in a case of mistaken identity, and then starts a non-stop adventure. The Hollywood film releases on April 9. Both Ajay and Kajol saw the film last Friday afternoon, after which they confirmed their intention to go ahead with the remake.”

And even though the film seems like a potential Hollywood hit, the officials at Fox Star had to convince our Bollywood duo that it would translate well into a Hindi film. “There is a possibility that Ajay may buy the rights of the film. A lot also depends on how Kajol wants to conduct her career after she delivers her second baby,”

Katrina Kaif need rest from Shooting

Katrina Kaif is very busy in her shooting these days so workloas is taking its toll on Katrina kaif’s health. The lissome actress recently swooned on the sets of Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’, just before the start of an important shoot.

The incident took place at Malshej Ghat, where Katrina was getting ready for the schedule. Talking to a news daily, a close source from the sets revealed, “She (Katrina) had barely finished makeup and walked on to the location, greeted her co-star Akshay Kumar and director Farah Khan when she collapsed in a heap…just like that!”

“No one knew quite what to do since the medical facilities in Malshej were hardly adequate. Akshay quickly called up Mumbai and a doctor was rushed to Malshej. By the time he arrived, Katrina was feeling better, though weak. Farah suggested they cancel her shooting for the day, but Katrina insisted on shooting in the second-half of the day’s schedule,” added the source.

The whole unit of ‘Tees Maar Khan’ was in a tizzy following the collapse of Katrina. For now, the doctor has advised Katrina complete bed rest and said it was due to lack of sleep and exertion.
