Indian sari has tremendous personality. A slight shift in its drape or fabric can convey a brand new attitude altogether. Be it the cotton-flavoured simplicity of Nargis, spooky white elegance of Sadhana, earthy ethnicity of Shabana Azmi or the traditional texture of Rekha's trademark kanjeevarams, a sari is as versatile as it gets.While we love the sari in all its avatars, nothing can beat its capacity to ooze oomph. Plus, considering Bollywood never-ending affair with glamour, heroines simply cannot do without the Big S to preserve their image of a larger-than-life goddess.
